Instructions
- Pre-wash napkin in warm, soapy water and dry.
- Gather supplies and cover work area with plastic table cover.
- Apply a Leaf Stencil onto napkin. You can also create your own using a Cricut Machine with Stencil Vinyl.
- Wearing rubber gloves, mix 1-2 tablespoons of well-shaken Rit All-Purpose Liquid Dye or 2 teaspoons of Rit All-Purpose Powder Dye with 1 cup of very hot tap water.
- Pour dye solution into spray bottle.
- Spray stencil with Marigold then Scarlet to create a gradient look mimicking fall leaves.
- Remove stencil and allow dyes to set.
- Spray ColorStay Dye Fixative over the area where dye was applied and let dry.
- Hand wash napkin in warm water with mild detergent, rinse and dry. If desired, iron to remove excess wrinkles.
