Bubble Dyed Shirt

  1. Prewash shirt in warm, soapy water. This helps to remove any finishes that may interfere with dye absorption. Leave damp and set aside.
  2. Wearing rubber gloves, add 1 tbsp of All-Purpose Liquid dye to 2 cups of bubble solution and mix well.
  3. Place damp t-shirt flat on a covered surface.
  4. Aim and blow the dye bubble solution from step 2 over damp t-shirt.
  5. Allow the bubbles land and pop on the shirt to create round, splatter patterns.
  6. Once desired look is achieved, spray with ColorStay Dye Fixative to set the dye. This helps to enhance the colors and reduce bleeding.
  7. Rinse in cool water until rinse water begins to run clear. This is very important to prevent unabsorbed dye from bleeding into any other areas.
  8. Wash in cold water with a mild detergent, rinse and dry.
