Instructions
- Cover your work area and gather supplies.
- For best results, prewash faux fur earmuffs, rinse and leave damp. This will help to remove any finishes that may interfere with dye absorption. Set aside.
- Heat 2 gallons / 7.5 liters of water on the stovetop to roughly 200ºF / 93ºC or greater.
- When water begins to simmer, add 1/2 cup /125 mL of well-shaken DyeMore for Synthetics in desired color and stir well.
- Wearing rubber gloves, carefully dip the earmuffs into the dyebath. Keep moving it around the dyebath to avoid harsh dyelines from forming and achieve a uniform color.
- Once desired color is achieved, remove from dyebath and rinse in warm water then gradually cool.
- Wash with mild detergent and air dry.
