Introducing Indigo
Say hello 👋 to our newest addition to our dye lineup, Indigo! Traditionally used for Japanese shibori patterns, this rich blue tone has proven to be a great alternative to a navy look. For more than a few years now, indigo clothing has been a favorite among the fashion-forward bohemian crowd. And we see why — it alludes to something that is hand dyed. We are now seeing it all over, from muumuus to wall hangings and everything in between. Looking for project ideas? Scroll to be inspired!
Shibori Dyed Canvas
Dyed wall hangings has become a favorite DIY at Rit HQ. This shibori dyed canvas might be our favorite project to date. Crafted with canvas and then stapled onto stretchers, this project was so fun to do that we are currently working on creating an entire gallery wall full of them!
IKEA Shibori Stool Cover
You would have never guessed that this awesome stool’s humbled beginnings began on the basement floor of an IKEA store tightly packaged up in a cardboard box stacked high on industrial metal shelving. Well, it was! This awesome stool comes with a removable cotton slipcover that provided us with the perfect opportunity to customize.

Decorating your home for the first time or simply looking to change things up? We’ve got the perfect DIY that will make a big statement in your home. The best part about it? We used a spare queen sheet!
Dip Dyed Jean Shorts
We love the imperfectness of a dip dye and the process couldn’t be easier.
